Privacy Policy

1. Camera & Body Tracking Data

Ring Work uses your device's camera for real-time body tracking. Your camera feed is processed entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No video, images, or raw camera data is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted off your device. Pose landmark data is computed locally and discarded when your session ends. Ring Work does not have access to any footage of you.

2. Session & Training Data

Ring Work logs your training sessions locally on your device, including: session date and duration, round configuration, punch counts by type, drill accuracy scores, and weekly training volume. This data powers your in-app progress charts and is not linked to any account or personal identifier.

3. No Account Required

Ring Work does not require an account. No personal information (name, email, date of birth) is needed to use the app. If you purchase a premium subscription, billing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — Ring Work never receives your payment details.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your training data — sessions, punch counts, accuracy scores, and progress charts — is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded. Deleting the app permanently removes it. iCloud Backup may back up your local app data depending on your iOS settings. The only information that leaves your device is the limited usage analytics described in the next section.

5. Usage Analytics

Ring Work uses Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to understand how people move through the app so we can improve it. We record product-interaction events — for example, which onboarding screen you reached, whether you completed or skipped the tutorial, and whether you viewed or dismissed the subscription screen — along with a device identifier generated by Mixpanel, your app version, and your device type.

We do not send Mixpanel any camera data, video, images, pose landmarks, or your training logs. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information. We do not use this data for advertising, nor do we combine it with data from other companies or sell it to data brokers. Geolocation lookup is disabled. Ring Work may additionally receive Apple's anonymized crash and usage reports if you have opted in under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

6. Third-Party Services

Ring Work does not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We work with three service providers: Apple, for app distribution and subscription billing; RevenueCat, which manages subscription status and receives a device identifier and purchase information; and Mixpanel, which processes the usage analytics described above. 7. Children's Privacy

Ring Work is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Choices & Controls

You can revoke camera access at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. Session logs can be cleared from within the app. Deleting the app removes all local data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of Ring Work after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
